Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team at a school district in Lawrence, Kansas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a paraprofessional or special education assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to lead teachers and students in a general education classroom setting.
  • Assist with instructional duties, including preparing materials and equipment for lessons.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), paraprofessional praxis exam, or 60+ college credits required.
  • Must be willing to work full-time (35 hours per week) during the school year.
