This is a professional position assisting the Director of Engineering & Central Services with administrative coordination, leadership, management support, analysis, planning, and overall supervision and product review of thirty-six (36) other positions in the department. This position directly supervises six (6) positions, including training and human resources functions such as performance evaluations; determining and executing individual development goals; planning team learning plans; disciplinary actions using progressive discipline; approval of leave and timesheets; and job recruitment (creating job requisitions, analyze applicant data, conducting applicant interviews, and hiring of personnel under the direction of the Director).
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the overall operations of the District Court Warehouse, Records and Storage, IT, Facilities, and Security Office.
- Provide overall coordination and quality control of services provided to all twelve (12) districts.
- Coordinate updates of internal documents, procedures, operating plans, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets.
- Contribute to the analysis, planning, and overall daily and long-term management of the department.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of professional experience in managing facilities, warehouse environments, security procedures, building operations, or a combination thereof.
- Two (2) years of professional supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of governmental budget preparation for both operating and capital budgets.
- Knowledge of court policies, procedures, rules, administrative orders, and regulations.
- Knowledge of generally accepted building, electrical, life, fire, safety, low voltage codes, procedures, and requirements.
- Knowledge of procurement rules, regulations, and accepted procedures.
- Knowledge of warehousing standards, asset management, local IT requirements, and District Court forms management.
