Job Summary

This is an entrepreneurial sales position that focuses on selling into the office/clinic primarily with some focus in Labor and Delivery as well.

The role involves identifying new customer opportunities and driving growth within the existing customer base.

It requires a technical/product support approach, in addition to a conceptual sale for leveraging newborn banking services for expecting families.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills and be able to support clinically technical product portfolios.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities
  1. Achieve territory sales objectives in the assigned geographical area by developing and executing an effective sales plan and actively managing the territory.
  2. Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
  3. Develop leads for new business in all area/channels of opportunity (consumer and healthcare provider).
  4. Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on hospitals, physician offices, and birth centers, and provide clinical and product technical support to providers.
  5. Maintain pricing integrity & contractual agreements that are consistent with company policies.
  6. Successfully complete training requirements of the products and the clinical & surgical applications within service portfolio; maintain proficiency in current product, market, and disease state knowledge across the product portfolio; includes knowledge of competing products and services.
  7. Cultivate professional relationships with obstetrics and gynecological caregivers, hospitals, physician offices, and birth centers; demonstrates maturity, integrity, and respect in all patient engagements & interactions.
  8. Understand, articulate, and educate on clinical reimbursement for all relevant products.
  9. Effectively leverage data analytics tools to enable territory management efficiency and inform decisions.
  10. Maintain high visibility of CSI marketing collateral in all sites of patient care.
  11. Responsible for sales, marketing feedback, and customer satisfaction relative to sales activities.
  12. Represent CSI at local, regional, and national meetings and conventions as required.
  13. Ensure that all administrative tasks (i.e., training modules, expense reports, business plans, database/CRMs Tableau/PowerBI updates, etc.) are completed promptly and accurately.
Travel

50% Travel; Overnight and occasional weekend trade show travel.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a strong background in medical devices and women's healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably in the women's healthcare space.

A Bachelor's degree is required.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of the medical device arena, preferably with a concentration in women's healthcare.

They should also have a comprehension of the Region's diverse healthcare systems and be able to engage and motivate by providing product & sales training to company partners.

Aptitude for engaging and motivating by providing product & sales training to company partners is a must.

Effective territory planning, large geographical territory management experience, ability to collaborate across a matrix organization, customer focused, results oriented, self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal day to day management are also required.

Work Environment

The role requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requires traveling in automobile and some flight travel throughout the territory and customer facilities.

Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records is required.

Appropriate dress attire aligned with customer call settings & facilities is necessary.
