Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.'s Automotive Business Unit designs and develops electronic components crucial to various Automotive applications such as autonomous driving and data communication. The automotive solution group is responsible for designing proof-of-concept reference platforms to drive next-generation product design and verifying compliance with various Automotive Ethernet standards, including but not limited to EMC and interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform certification testing (including but not limited to BCI, DPI, RE, ESD, RI) per developed test plan and procedure to ensure product meets the feature and industry EMC requirements.
  2. Evaluate and extract requirements from various Automotive EMC test specifications.
  3. Design and draft internal test procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  4. Provide guidance to PCB development to ensure testability and optimize EMC performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and at least 1-3 years of related professional experience. Or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with no professional experience.

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong understanding of EM theory.
  3. Experience with hands-on EMC testing is a plus.
  4. Good understanding of SI/PI requirements for PCB design.
  5. Knowledge in C/C++ with experience in test equipment automation.
  6. Familiarity with Ethernet transceivers and associated standards IEEE 802.3 is desired.
  7. Experience with EEE/Macsec/PTP/SyncE features is a plus.
