Shively Motors Inc is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to provide exceptional service to our customers. This full-time role will involve performing preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles, examining vehicles for hazards and defects, and diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical components.
Responsibilities:- Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles
- Examine vehicles for hazards and defects to identify necessary repairs
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical components on automotive vehicles
- Inspect, test, adjust, repair, and service vehicles
- Communicate all findings and required repairs with Service Managers
- Order, stock, and manage parts and supplies necessary for repairs
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service, repair, and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service and repair equipment
