Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Laboratory to lead our clinical laboratory operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and managing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Direct and manage laboratory operations, including personnel management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CLIA, OSHA, and CAP.
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between laboratory staff, management, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years' experience as a department manager in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a significant understanding of laboratory sciences and operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Green Belt Certification
  • Master's Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology
  • Certification as a medical technologist under ASCP, NCA or equivalent as defined under CLIA '88 regulations
