Timmons Group is on the lookout for a Senior Civil Project Manager - Transportation Division to join our esteemed Transportation Design Team.
Key Responsibilities for the ideal candidate encompass:
- Overseeing the successful execution of designated projects while fostering robust client relationships.
- Engaging in marketing initiatives and business growth, ensuring technical excellence, profitability, adherence to timelines, coordination of project personnel, client communication, negotiating project scopes and fees, billing processes, and facilitating fee collection when necessary.
- Maintaining exemplary relationships with clients and promoting Timmons Group's diverse services beyond direct expertise, with consistent communication with the Transportation Design Team Leader being crucial.
- Demonstrating the capability to manage several mid-sized projects, multiple smaller projects, or a single larger project concurrently.
Qualifications for a successful candidate include:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in relevant states where Timmons Group operates.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic and transportation engineering, active transportation design, and/or water resource design for various clients, including local governments and State Departments of Transportation (DOTs).
- A comprehensive understanding of project accounting with a proven ability to manage schedules and budgets across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in marketing and supervising the technical work of team members.
- Proficiency in the technical and office support software necessary for fulfilling job responsibilities.
- A professional demeanor towards clients and internal teams.
- Effective communication skills for daily task completion and collaboration.
- A commitment to building professional relationships and assisting colleagues in meeting critical deadlines.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
