This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to food safety and quality while fostering a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Supervise inventory control measures, including regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks, to uphold the accuracy of our data systems.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement standard operating procedures to guarantee compliance with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
  • Training and Development: Educate new team members on warehouse management systems and operational protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
  • Equipment Oversight: Manage the upkeep of warehouse facilities and material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and document the temperatures of refrigerated and frozen storage areas to maintain product integrity.
  • Team Supervision: Lead warehouse staff in alignment with company policies and legal regulations, fostering a productive work culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify the quality and accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments against our data systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Supply Chain and Quality Assurance, to resolve any discrepancies in data or materials.
  • Safety and Quality Initiatives: Actively engage in the development and enforcement of safety and quality policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant vocational training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience in food manufacturing with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Participation in internal policy committees is advantageous.
  • Experience in the CPG/Natural Foods or Dairy sectors is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
