Freight Handler

We are seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team at Ceva Logistics US Inc. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring efficient and safe warehouse operations.

• Develop and maintain excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers.
• Manage cargo from incoming trucks, removing items by hand or using manual equipment, or operating a forklift.
• Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, making informed decisions on acceptance or refusal.
• Record receipts accurately and ensure proper documentation is attached.
• Sort cargo received by account or intended location and store in designated areas.
• Accurately label freight for destination.
• Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads.
• Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors and storing equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one to three years related experience.
• Minimum one year industry experience, preferred.
• Forklift Driver Certification.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, preferred.
