Job Summary

To achieve profitability and excellence in restaurant operations, we seek a skilled Restaurant General Manager to lead our Burger King team in California. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing profits, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the front counter team to deliver quality service, ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members and management to plan, train, and review operations and management procedures.
  • Develop and maintain sales growth through effective local store marketing and sales analysis.
  • Monitor and control costs, including utilities, supplies, and labor, to minimize impact on profitability.
  • Manage restaurant cash control, including daily bank deposits and adherence to cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure a safe work environment, maintain high health department ratings, and adhere to company image standards.
  • Process payroll, maintain applicant tracking, and conduct performance reviews with team members.
  • Utilize preventive maintenance systems to ensure adequate repair of buildings and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and ServSafe certified.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, influence others, and present information clearly.
  • Understanding of P&L analysis, cash controls, labor analysis, yields, and food costs.
  • Ability to solve problems, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Leadership skills to develop and grow others.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of order processing systems.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to various physical conditions, including moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and high heat. The employee is subject to inside environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and pushing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
