Key Responsibilities- Rounding and consultations with healthcare teams to determine best plan of care
- Monitoring and management of ECMO and intubation
- Partnering with surgeons and other teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Medicine management and patient care coordination
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient condition
- Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care
- Prescribe and recommend medical therapies and procedures, and perform indicated procedures in accordance with approved policies
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional practice guidelines
- Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, management of health conditions, and health promotion
- Maintain accurate records detailing patient treatment plans and outcomes
- Initiate timely consultation and referral when necessary
- Provide consultation-level services for conditions related to the provider's specialty and expertise
- Manage patients in various healthcare settings, including inpatient and emergency services
- Perform invasive procedures specific to scope of practice and provider level of expertise
- Graduate of an accredited program
- More than 2 years of experience preferred
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
