Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nexus Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide ongoing medical management and acute interventions for patients in the post-acute care setting.
Our medical model of care supports patients from the earliest stages throughout the entire recovery process, delivering a holistic rehabilitation approach extending beyond traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work directly with pediatric nurse practitioners within a group setting to provide direct patient care to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and rehab patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing ongoing medical management and acute interventions for patients in the post-acute care setting
- Working directly with pediatric nurse practitioners within a group setting to provide direct patient care
- Designating processes for meeting the medical and psychosocial needs of residents and providing updates and evaluating medical treatment plans, medications, and other necessary care

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Acute Care Certification Required
