Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Part-Time Autism Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to provide one-on-one care to children with autism in their homes, implementing individualized treatment plans and promoting skill development in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one care to children with autism in their homes, using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Implement individualized treatment plans, promoting skill development in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living skills
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development
  • Manage problematic behaviors through effective intervention strategies
  • Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress
  • Maintain a positive and respectful environment at all times
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships
  • Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies
  • Utilize creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience
Requirements
  • High school degree or higher
  • Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education
  • RBT certification in good standing preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Passion for working with children
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check
