We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinic Triage Nurse to join our team at the Fairview Internal Medicine Clinic. As a Clinic Triage Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care by assessing patient needs over the phone, guiding them to appropriate care or self-care advice.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to patient triage both in person and/or on the nurse phone line.
- Assess life-threatening or crisis situations at the onset of a call and manage referrals to EMS.
- Document every caller encounter in the electronic medical record (EMR) to include assessed needs, recommended actions, and follow-up plan.
- Maintain and enhance an up-to-date level of knowledge regarding professional nursing practices and telehealth nursing.
- Provide quality care to patients and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient experience.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
- One year of RN experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience working with patients in ambulatory care, Three (3) years of RN experience.
