Creative Marketing Director Position

Union Home Mortgage is seeking a talented Creative Marketing Director to lead our in-house creative marketing team and drive business results through compelling content. This role will involve translating business strategies into original creative concepts and approaches, differentiating the UHM brand, and collaborating with a team of videographers, designers, and writers to oversee multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in marketing related fields, leadership skills, and excellent writing and presentation abilities. They will also be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide creative direction, inspiration, and guidance to the core creative group within the marketing department.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal partners to set the creative strategy and guide the priorities and output of the creative marketing team.
  • Develop creative platforms and design concepts that meet business objectives and advance UHM's brand strategy.
  • Review and perform quality control to ensure all work adheres to brand standards.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects.
  • Support and coach the creative team on their professional development and coaching toward professional goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role with an agency or brand, financial services a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills with several years of experience with people management.
  • Natural storyteller with excellent writing skills and ability to bring the brand to life.
  • Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve the creative team's workflow and processes.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to translate creative concepts to key stakeholders and internal business partners.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to think outside of the box.
