  • Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager to ensure optimal resource allocation and meet production demands.
  • Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting performance standards and quality requirements.
  • Monitor daily production requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and plant objectives are met, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operators are certified and training matrices are up-to-date and meeting departmental targets.
  • Compile KPI data and populate end-of-shift reports to distribute to management and relevant operations personnel.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure it meets customer requirements and plant standards.
  • Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced to maintain a skilled and adaptable workforce.
  • Participate in team leader meetings and quality initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Identify and implement CI opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management, with a minimum of 1-3 years in the automotive industry.
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Proven team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
