Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility, coordinating shipments, and supervising a team of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, transporting, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Ensure the safe and injury-free operation of the warehouse, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate shipments, advising employees on the care of goods received, stored, and shipped.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
  • Review production schedules and confer with department supervisors to ensure timely shipping of customers' products.
  • Coordinate the work flow required by staffing agency associates and monitor individual work performance.
  • Ensure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) years related experience in a warehouse supervisor/lead role.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Successful communication - written and verbal.
  • Establish priorities and multi-task.
  • Experience with material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheet and Warehouse/Yard Management Systems or Transportation Management Systems desirable.
