Job Summary

The Speech Therapist is a key member of our rehabilitation team, responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. As a Speech Therapist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients thoroughly to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide patients with effective treatments, including speech and language therapy, to promote progress towards goals
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans according to applicable guidelines and standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Florida Speech Therapist license
  • Interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Speech Therapist must be able to lift, stand, and support patients as needed, and must be able to bend and stoop to provide care.

This is a full-time position, with regular working hours and occasional overtime as needed. The Speech Therapist will work in a team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
