  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide support and services to students
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on communication disorders and strategies for supporting students
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech and language pathology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution
  • Eligibility for certification from the Florida Department of Education in Speech-Language Impaired and/or licensure from the Florida Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Non-Master's degree personnel must be enrolled in Graduate-level coursework prior to expiration of temporary DOE certification
  • Valid Florida Driver License

Working Conditions:

This is a 10-month instructional position with a 8-hour workday. The Speech and Language Therapist will work in a school setting and will be required to travel between schools as needed.
