Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Business Development Coach to join our team at Driven Brands in North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to our members to help them improve their business practices and achieve their goals.

About the Role

This is a remote position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence others over the telephone and videoconferencing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of overall automotive experience, with a strong focus on service writing, shop management, operations management, or previous shop ownership. They should also have exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, solid automotive business understanding, and the ability to teach, instruct, and mentor small business owners or employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis of existing practices and make recommendations for improvements based on best practices and techniques.
  • Coach, consult, and mentor members to achieve business goals and dreams.
  • Guide members through the building blocks that turn their automotive shop into a profitable and efficient business via our 48-month reengineering program and alumni programs.
Administrative Duties
  • Perform administrative tasks such as startup agreement paperwork, coach client agreements, and enter weekly notes based on client/coach calls.
  • Contribute to research and content for articles, classroom, and training material.
  • Participate in weekly coaches meetings and be aware of trends in other service-related industries.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of overall automotive experience.
  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Solid automotive business understanding.
  • Ability to influence others over the telephone and videoconferencing.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $59,700 - $119,100 per year, depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role. We also provide health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay.
