Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ExpertHiring. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients, including health promotion and disease prevention activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, including taking medical histories, assessing medical conditions, and interpreting findings.
  • Collaborate with Department Physicians: Work closely with department physicians to provide specialized care and refer patients to consultants as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders through both oral and written communication.
  • Maintain Accurate Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate written clinical documentation.
  • Make Evidence-Based Decisions: Make informed, evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and completed an approved nurse practitioner program. Possess valid State of Connecticut licensure.
  • Experience and Skills: 12 years of experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care is preferred. Deep knowledge of nursing theory and practice or physician assistant theory and practice. Ability to provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
  • APRN or PA License: APRN or PA License in the state of Connecticut is preferred.
