Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technologist to join our team in the Sleep Lab. As a Polysomnography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all types of sleep apnea testing within the scope of practice, including CPAP/BiPAP/ASV Studies, Baseline Oxygen studies, and other sleep or research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sleep studies and score sleep data to identify sleep disorders
- Report findings and recommendations to healthcare providers
- Maintain department equipment and supplies used for patient sleep testing
- Follow policies and procedures for handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment
- 2+ years of experience in Polysomnography required
- 1 year of experience in pediatrics preferred
- B.S. Degree preferred
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- PSGT certification required by ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC
