Polysomnographic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Los Alamos Medical Center. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing sleep study examinations, applying electrodes, and calibrating equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating with patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sleep study examinations, including applying electrodes and calibrating equipment
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information and test results
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Successful completion of a polysomnography program, no less than one year duration, associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility
- Previous experience in polysomnography is preferred
- Certification by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is preferred
