We are currently seeking a driven, career-focused Senior Software Engineer, Subject Matter Expert to become part of our team. This role is available in various locations, providing flexibility for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership, departments, and clients to ascertain user requirements and specifications.
  • Design algorithms and flowcharts to develop innovative software solutions and produce efficient, high-quality code based on defined requirements.
  • Test and implement applications, while troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and enhancing existing software.
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback to optimize software performance.
  • Analyze user feedback to propose enhancements to current software products.
  • Create technical documentation to assist future software development initiatives.
  • Mentor and supervise junior project staff, fostering collaboration with other senior developers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Must obtain one of the following certifications within six months of starting: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
  • Candidates without a degree must have four (4) additional years of experience; those with an Associate's degree must have two (2) additional years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Relevant industry-standard certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • This position necessitates an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for over 50% of the time.
  • Must effectively communicate and exchange information with colleagues and senior staff.
  • Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment.
  • Frequently interacts with team members, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Occasionally moves within the office to access files and equipment.

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $170,700-$283,800. Various factors can influence the final salary, including contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
