Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini excavators, on residential and commercial job sites.
  • Follow OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a crew to complete excavation work, including loading, unloading, and securing equipment on transport trailers.
  • Interact with customers as needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain excavation equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Work in confined spaces and open trenches, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Construction experience, including residential and commercial projects.
  • Current CDL Class A license.
  • Trenchless water, sewer, and gas experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to complete jobs within specified timelines.
