About the Role:

Sonsray Fleet Services - Farmingdale is seeking a skilled Bus Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing components on our fleet of trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, gensets, and APUs
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on our fleet
  • Work with our team to ensure timely and efficient repairs

  • A competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $42.44

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
  • Experience with refrigeration units, gensets, and APUs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
