Position Summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently on the lookout for Junior or Experienced Product Quality Assurance Specialists (Level B/C) to be part of our Quality Assurance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves working on a Variable Shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure routine product compliance with design specifications.
  • Provide objective documentation of results.
  • Conduct audits, surveillance, and monitoring activities.
  • Identify and record discrepancies.
  • Manage and control non-conforming items.
  • Perform initial assessments and resolutions for non-conformance issues.
  • Engage with customers during product or process evaluations.
  • Recognize recurring or significant non-conformances and initiate corrective action requests.

Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence. The selected candidate will be expected to work at one of the designated locations.

Compliance Requirements:

To adhere to export control regulations, candidates must qualify as a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R, which includes U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in product inspection.
  • Physical capability to navigate stairs and perform bending/stooping tasks frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in identifying engineering features on products and using calibrated tools for measurement and reporting.
  • Familiarity with the 787 Program.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team setting.
  • Leadership experience, either formal or informal.

Education and Experience:

Associate (Level B): Typically requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced (Level C): Typically requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
