Restaurant Operations Director

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:
As a Restaurant Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that we meet our high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This includes scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team to ensure that we're providing the best possible experience for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating value for our shareholders by efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Effectively managing a corporate-owned restaurant within our policies and guidelines, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times
  • Controlling day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
  • Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members, conducting performance appraisals, and taking discipline action
  • Controlling profit & loss, following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Good communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional team building capability
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
  • Basic personal computer literacy
  • College or university degree preferred, but will consider experience
  • Supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility
