Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Our Minneapolis critical care float team is a vital part of our nursing services, working within our pediatric intensive care unit and cardiovascular intensive care unit. Team members have the opportunity to expand their skills over time to provide support in other areas, including the emergency department and post-anesthesia care unit. Our critical care units care for children with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, including those with respiratory, neurological, and cardiovascular origins. We value teamwork, open communication, safety, and respect, and strive to create an environment that encourages learning and professional growth.
Position Summary
As a critical care nurse, you will coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to our patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with other health team members. This is an MNA contract position, requiring a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, current Minnesota RN licensure, and current BLS certification. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment, and require proof of COVID-19 vaccine and immunity to vaccine-preventable infectious diseases prior to employment.
