About the Role:

Our Distribution Center is seeking a seasoned Senior Warehouse Supervisor.

In this role, you will oversee and engage in the shipping, storage, receiving, and inventory management of products under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor. You will lead hourly warehouse staff, focusing on training and providing direction through coaching and timely feedback. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and various equipment to load, unload, move, locate, stack, and count products. You will also support inventory control in warehousing, receiving, shipping, and cycle counting of all company products. This position entails auditing a portion of inbound and outbound loads while ensuring inventory accuracy within the Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster positive employee relations and ensure effective communication regarding expectations and opportunities for improvement.
  • Guide the team in achieving established performance metrics, including productivity and quality goals, by ensuring efficient work practices.
  • Collaborate with inbound and outbound coordinators on loads.
  • Assign and manage work tasks.
  • Complete daily equipment maintenance checklists for assigned machinery.
  • Operate forklifts and other specified equipment within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Adhere to all company quality and customer service standards.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to damaged, misplaced, or missing products.
  • Utilize WMS/ERP and Excel to analyze cycle count data.
  • Examine inventory transactions and material flow to identify causes of inaccuracies.
  • Maintain and update inventory records within specified timeframes.
  • Report nonconforming loads/materials as part of the internal corrective action process.
  • Conduct research to locate products using the system as needed.
  • Assist operations teams with discrepancies during shipping and receiving, communicating issues to supervisors.
  • Investigate inventory errors and implement corrective measures to prevent future discrepancies.
  • Print and distribute putaway reports to cycle counters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of inventory records accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • Provide training to new and existing operations staff.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate RF scan technology and shipping computers.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations.
  • Capability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong emphasis on workplace safety.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Proficient in SAP/WMS systems.
  • 3-5 years of prior team lead or supervisory experience.
