  • Record Management: Oversee the maintenance, storage, and retrieval of patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall department efficiency.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and develop a team of Health Information Management professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including clinical and administrative teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration or related field.
  • Experience: Four or more years of experience in a leadership role within a Health Information Management department, with a proven track record of success.
  • Certifications: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification.
