Tufts Medicine is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the next Chief of the Division of Rheumatology. As a key member of the Department of Medicine, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of rheumatology care and research at Tufts Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic and innovative leadership to the Division of Rheumatology, championing clinical excellence and expanding clinical stature.
- Recruit, oversee, and mentor a growing team of rheumatology specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Work collaboratively with other divisions and departments to build new clinical care initiatives, enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Oversee clinical supervision of advanced care practitioners, fellows, residents, and medical students, ensuring a seamless transition of care.
- Enhance, build, and participate in quality programs for the Division and the Department of Medicine, driving continuous improvement.
- Recruit and oversee a growing team with a commitment to clinical investigation and medical education, advancing the academic mission of Tufts Medicine.
- Develop and build a vision for interdisciplinary and translational research within the Division, driving innovation and discovery.
- Oversee the Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program, ensuring a vibrant and engaged learning environment for fellows and residents.
- Shape the future of the Internal Medicine residency program, fostering a passion for teaching and scholarship.
- Advance the learning environment for medical students at Tufts University School of Medicine, promoting clinical excellence, professionalism, and scholarship.
