Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Sanitation Specialist II to join our team at Integrated Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and quality assurance in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with corporate QP's and sanitation policies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring our programs meet regulatory requirements.
  • Operations Support: Administer Mondelez's Quality Programs, providing technical guidance and support to operations teams to prevent faulty product, consumer complaints, and sanitary design issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Collaborate with operations and quality departments to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the availability of necessary tools, supplies, and equipment for sanitation tasks.
How You Will Contribute
  • Food Safety Expertise: Work with key partners to ensure accurate translation of food safety requirements into raw material, process, and product specifications, providing technical guidance to stakeholders and directing detailed questions to the Food Safety Team.
What You Will Bring
  • Scientific Background: Possess a scientific grounding in food safety science, with a passion for technical areas and a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading people, with a strong track record of performance management, coaching, and employee development.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead the EHS department, including performance management, coaching, and employee development.
  • Chemical Handling and Storage: Ensure chemical storage and handling meet all requirements of Mondelez's Environmental, Health, and Safety program, providing chemical handling training to personnel.
  • Pest Control and Hygiene: Track and coordinate PIC/PEC activities, maintain and review the Master Sanitation Schedule annually, and act as Site Coordinator for Pest Control.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison between factory personnel, sanitation chemical supplier, Corporate Sanitation, and third-party sanitation provider.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the Global Cleaning and Sanitation Manual, Pest Control and Hygienic Design Standard, and manage outside contractors for cleaning, EHS supplies, and uniforms.
Competencies and Abilities
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, with experience in leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
  • Analytical and Computer Skills: Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Concur.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
Experience and Education
  • Leading People: Proven experience in leading people, with a strong track record of performance management, coaching, and employee development.
  • Quality and Sanitation Experience: Significant experience in quality and sanitation, with a strong understanding of food safety science and regulations.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, with a Bachelor's degree in science or food sanitation preferred.
