Payload Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Payload Systems Design Engineer to join our team at The Boeing Company. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing payload systems for our aircraft and spacecraft.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing payload systems, including cargo handling systems, galley, vacuum waste, oxygen, and emergency equipment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payload systems with aircraft and spacecraft
  • Developing and executing schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk, and issues management
  • Utilizing computer-aided design tools and systems, including CAD/CAM, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, and Unigraphics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience
  • Experience in leading project and program proposals, design concepts and techniques, and utilizing computer-aided design tools and systems

Telecommuting permitted up to 20%. Travel required up to 10%.
