Role Summary:
As a Senior or Principal contributor within our AI-optimized Memory Platform Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in defining the architecture for innovative, tightly integrated memory systems designed specifically for AI workloads. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect SoCs and platform architectures for high-performance stacked memory systems, focusing on power delivery, interconnects, I/O, and thermal management.
- Collaborate with experts in SoC/memory design, memory systems architecture, and advanced packaging to evaluate trade-offs and establish architectural requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.
- Contribute to the development of prototype platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in platform architecture, including the analysis, definition, and development of complex systems, particularly those utilizing advanced packaging techniques.
- Familiarity with high-performance memory devices and systems, such as HBM.
- Design and architecture experience with cutting-edge foundry nodes.
- Knowledge of 2.5D and 3D interconnects and interfaces, including PCIe, UCIe, and HBM.
- Experience in power delivery and thermal architecture analysis.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with advanced packaging methodologies and components.
- Background in high-efficiency, stacked architectures and designs.
- Contributions to SoC and memory system architecture and design.
- Ability to influence decisions through data-driven analysis.
- A Master's, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
