Insurance Product Sales Development Specialist

Job Overview:
This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sales and want to develop a career in the insurance industry. As an Insurance Product Sales Development Specialist, you will participate in a comprehensive program that equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in selling individual insurance products.
Compensation:
The estimated hourly wage for this position is $16/hour for up to 30 days, with the potential to earn $36,000 annually as a Financial Representative after successful completion of licensing and onboarding requirements. Additionally, you will be eligible for benefits such as a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a comprehensive program to develop skills required to provide holistic financial advice to clients
- Contribute to classroom discussion, participate in goal setting sessions, and progress evaluation meetings
- Demonstrate appropriate skills and pass a sales process competency test
- Gain direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products to clients
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with internal business partners
Requirements:
- Ability to successfully achieve criteria of Trainee Program
- Ability to pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job, max of 2 attempts at Life and Health exam
- Must pass the CRD/FINRA background check at hire and ongoing
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the work period, hold and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license, and have access to reliable transportation
