Position Overview:
Stealth Recruiting Services is seeking to fill multiple Maintenance Operations Manager roles within a prominent Tier I automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in maintenance and supervisory roles within high-volume production settings, particularly in the automotive sector.

Professional Summary:
We are looking for an experienced leader in maintenance operations who can effectively implement maintenance strategies and leverage technical expertise to enhance management processes. The successful candidate will excel in fast-paced environments, demonstrating clarity and focus under pressure.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, or 5 years of maintenance experience combined with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement methodologies, and predictive/preventive maintenance programs, with a proven track record in reducing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Technical expertise at the Journeyman level is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risk effectively.
  • Self-driven with strong oral and written communication skills, alongside exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Experience in overseeing a diverse maintenance team across various trades.
  • Willingness to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as necessary; the position includes bonuses and overtime for authorized weekend work.
  • Ability to travel for training, education, and representation at maintenance workshops.
  • Exemplary attendance record is essential.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and Kanban methodologies.
  • Capability to lead and manage projects effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks as directed by the Lead Supervisor.
  • Ensure the functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment through a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program, including testing, restoring, repairing, and replacing faulty components.
  • Support all initiatives related to quality, production, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Manage a skilled unionized workforce and plant services team of over 50 employees.
  • Uphold high standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance.
  • Monitor employee attendance and assist in maintaining accurate attendance records while enforcing departmental discipline.
  • Oversee daily timekeeping, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) orders, and all maintenance program documentation.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and regulations.

Miscellaneous:
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Aspirations to advance into management roles are encouraged.

Hydraulic experience is a plus.
