Job Title: Entitlements Project Manager

A client in Conroe, TX is seeking an Entitlements Project Manager to oversee the entitlements process for residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the entitlements process, coordinating with stakeholders, and securing necessary approvals and permits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each progresses smoothly through the entitlement process
  • Handle all facets of securing entitlements, including approvals, permits, and related documentation
  • Meet with city officials and conduct presentations to gather information and documents
  • Conduct daily management of due diligence activities required for obtaining entitlements
  • Compile and analyze cost data to construct feasibility budgets
  • Proactively identify and address potential barriers to secure zoning and planning approvals
  • Assess consultant deliverables and ensure they meet project requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with utility providers
  • Stay informed of local government regulations related to zoning, ordinances, and entitlement processes
  • Generate and organize supporting materials for project submissions

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2-6+ years of experience in civil engineering, land development, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Homebuilder industry experience or Entitlements PM experience
  • Experience working at an engineering consulting firm
  • Experience working with single-family homes
  • Experience handling multiple projects at once
  • PE License
