Data Center Logistics Specialist

Job Overview
A key role in our data center operations team, responsible for the execution of material logistics. This includes shipping/receiving, storage, distribution, and cycle counting of data center materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate logistics activities during shift assignments
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Supervise and direct logistics personnel for assigned operations
- Conduct regular reviews of team members' support of data center operations
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory records and metrics
- Assist in monthly and/or annual physical inventories and provide inventory reports
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with all operating systems in the work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card physical exam (US only)
- Bachelor's Degree or Logistics-related certification(s)
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field; 6+ months in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and client service management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities
Physical Demands
May require up to 25% travel; may require extended periods on your feet; may require miles of walking per day throughout the Warehouse and/or Data Center
