Behavioral Support Specialist

The Mariposa County Unified School District and COE seeks a highly skilled Behavioral Technician to join its Student Support Services team.
Job Description- Provide essential support to students with diverse needs, utilizing strong communication skills, patience, and understanding to help them overcome behavioral challenges.
This critical role requires a deep understanding of student behavior and the ability to develop effective strategies to address these challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital member of the Student Support Services team, providing direct support to students with behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans to support students' academic and personal success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular team meetings to discuss student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Special Education, Psychology, or related field).
- Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, teachers, and parents.
