Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring managers, and transfer offer letters
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the recruiting process status
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers, including benefits, compensation, and non-competition agreements
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action Plan compliance
  • Coordinate associate onboarding and conduct orientation on new associates' first day of employment
  • Manage current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years lifecycle recruiting experience required
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the lab, and basic understanding of the company's organizational structure
  • Knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Strong verbal/written communication abilities, effective interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong sense of urgency, ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • Experience with managing a large pool of candidates/database
