Position Overview

We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Direct Support Providers to assist various individuals in the Litchfield Park vicinity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a 19-year-old male who requires comprehensive assistance with his attendant care and respite needs during afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Provide respite support for a 23-year-old female who enjoys the company of dogs; a flexible schedule is essential.
  • Assist a 15-year-old male who needs respite support; flexibility in scheduling is required.
  • Support a 21-year-old female with her daily habilitation, attendant care, and respite goals; a flexible schedule is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, demonstrating a commitment to their health and safety.


Qualifications:

  • A genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others.
  • Ability to foster self-esteem and advocate for individuals.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is advantageous.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Article 9 certification is a plus.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate is beneficial.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to adhere to required shifts.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
