Position Summary
The Enterprise Security Systems (ESS) Administrator will possess proficiency in the design, installation, configuration, backup, administration, management, upgrading, troubleshooting, diagnosis, testing, monitoring, archiving of data, and documentation of all software and hardware associated with the Enterprise Security System. This role is essential to maintaining optimal operational levels and security in alignment with DHS policies. Key applications include physical access control, secure visitor management, alarm monitoring, incident management, digital video surveillance, and fingerprint and identity management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and document the performance of system hardware and software, utilizing this data to formulate recommendations for performance enhancement and implementing approved modifications as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Design, plan, and execute future capabilities of the ESS systems while fulfilling solutions architecture responsibilities.
- Support Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities during disaster recovery drills and events to sustain normal operations for the ESS system.
- Design, install, configure, administer, manage, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, test, monitor, and document the ESS environment.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in the following areas: Physical access control, secure visitor management, alarm monitoring, incident management, digital video surveillance, and fingerprint and identity management systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Willingness to work on-site in customer facilities.
- Must be able to pass a DHS law enforcement background check.
Minimum Pay Rate: USD $79,648.00/Yr.
Maximum Pay Rate: USD $132,746.67/Yr.
Salary Disclosure
The actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance, including factors such as education, certifications, and extensive or unique experience beyond the basic requirements.
