We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Kathryn J. Strassner, DDS, PLLC in Queensbury, NY.

Job Summary

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral care to our patients. Your duties will include:

  • Performing dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
  • Taking and developing dental x-rays
  • Conducting oral cancer screenings
  • Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records using Curve software

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid state dental hygiene license
  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
  • Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
