We are seeking a Project Lead Architect to become a vital part of our team at Studio AR&D Architects.

  • Engage in the creative development of our projects
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of construction documentation
  • Supervise the generation of drawings and construction documents
  • Plan, organize, and manage the efforts of the production team

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic work setting, embrace challenging project responsibilities, and handle a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers and the Managing Principal on upscale residential projects
  • Produce, manage, and coordinate sets of construction documentation
  • Create technical CAD drawings adhering to office standards
  • Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate with team members, consultants, and local government staff
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants
  • Develop technical drawings under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • Organize drawing sets and finalize submittals
  • Conduct zoning analyses and research construction materials
  • Support general office and project-related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
  • 3-5 years of architectural experience post-degree
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience in design and construction documentation
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work
  • Self-motivated with strong communication abilities
