About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team in ensuring the cleanliness and operational efficiency of university facilities. This position plays a crucial role in upholding the standards of our educational environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure quality in housekeeping operations across university buildings.
  • Establish and monitor cleaning schedules, assessing the overall cleanliness of facilities.
  • Document and report any deficiencies in cleaning, maintenance, security, and safety.
  • Conduct inspections before and after cleaning to verify compliance with standards.
  • Act as a liaison between housekeeping staff and building occupants to facilitate communication.
  • Perform inspections and submit detailed reports to the Associate Director of Janitorial Services.
  • Coordinate emergency responses for incidents such as flooding or fire.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and actions taken.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in housekeeping and janitorial services.
  • Proven supervisory experience in managing housekeeping operations.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to organize work schedules and prioritize tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with vehicle use policies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an educational environment.
  • Understanding of housekeeping service requirements in educational settings.
