Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. You will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Prefer graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • BCLS required within 30 days of hire
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
