Site Facilities Engineer

This role entails the supervision and technical assistance related to significant maintenance and/or capital enhancements to current facilities, along with engineering oversight for the design and construction of new facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
The Site/Facilities Engineer will be tasked with:
- Continuous evaluation of Carlisle Construction Materials facilities (primarily manufacturing and warehousing) from both an infrastructure and operational standpoint.
- Formulating a comprehensive plan to address immediate and long-term service needs to ensure optimal operational efficiency at each site/facility. This plan will encompass cost estimates, basic scope descriptions, timelines, durations, required resources, and funding necessities.
- Creating and maintaining a database for each site/facility that records pertinent information.
- Monitoring and documenting ongoing and completed projects specific to each site/facility.
- Leading the preparation of funding requests associated with major projects identified in the working plan.
- Managing projects outlined in the working plan in accordance with standard project management protocols established by the Engineering Department. This includes project scheduling, budget oversight, coordination meetings, communication, documentation, and project close-out.
- Establishing a support team of site and project-specific personnel when necessary.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in computer applications, including the MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NPDES, etc.
- Awareness of building codes and local and county regulations.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, security, electrical, communications (IT), plumbing, and piping.
- Expertise in fire systems, including FM Global and NFPA standards.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Expertise in Construction Management and Project Management.
- Understanding of best practices in Manufacturing and Construction Safety & Environmental Health.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Management is preferred).
Equivalency: An Associate's Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a technical or skilled trade relevant to this position (e.g., construction, manufacturing maintenance, etc.).
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or equivalent technical field.
