Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

This role involves preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals

Requirements

  • One year of applicable work experience in a patient care setting or active RMA/CCMA/CMA certification
  • Graduation from a Medical Assisting program preferred
  • Ability to obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment
