Position Highlights:
- This role requires working on a 12-hour shift schedule, specifically designed to enhance work-life balance.
- Technicians will report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate closely with a lead technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a variety of machinery, equipment, and structural components essential for operational efficiency.
- Engage in troubleshooting large hydraulic systems, including pumps and valves, and handle electrical systems ranging from 115V to 480V.
- Support the production team by resolving process issues in an injection molding environment, ensuring quality output.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance in accordance with established schedules.
- Work with diverse equipment such as electric motors, hydraulic systems, and safety mechanisms to maintain a secure work environment.
- Provide technical assistance on injection molding machines and auxiliary systems.
- Offer mentorship and training to junior technical staff as needed.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance practices.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to address root cause failures and minimize downtime.
- Demonstrate familiarity with hydraulic injection molding machinery and the ability to interpret schematics.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment while being self-driven and productive.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or an Associate's degree in industrial maintenance technology or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding or hydraulics within a manufacturing context.
- Proficient in using computers, including MS Office Suite and CMMS Software, along with knowledge of 5S and Lean methodologies.
- Capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
